my dad has passed away and i don't want his vinyls. i know that coloured vinyls are worth more but how much do you think this one is worth? £10 £20??

I read somewhere that it was Rumours by Fleetwood Mac, that was a big multi platinum seller on vinyl in 1977 but I don't remember CD players being around then! Anybody know what year the first CD appeared in shops, was it Fleetwood Mac or somebody else?

I bought a record player last week just for the nostalgia effect, and it was cheap. I grew up in the CD age, so the only thing I can play is my parents' old LPs, like Aerosmith, Fleetwood Mac, Creedence Clearwater Revival, and all that. Anyways, in listening to them, I feel like vinyl sounds better than CDs. I told my friends this, and they are like "That's impossible, CDs are digital"...but I can swear I hear a difference, and the vinyl sounds better. Does anyone know which of the two are a better medium? And I'm kinda sneaking in a double question here, but how long does an average stylus last?

I have almost 100 used albums from the 70's, they are all by very popular groups/artists of the time (Fleetwood Mac, The Who, Steve Miller Band, etc.). I need to relocate and don't want to move these heavy, bulky records again since I never listen to them. A local dealer has told me the albums are probably worth about $1 each because they are all still quite common. I've never listed anything on eBay or any other online auction website. Would I possibly get more for the records auctioning them instead of selling to a dealer? Of course, I would probably need to sell them to someone local if I list them on eBay due to what it would cost to ship them. (Even if the person was willing to take my word that they are all in very good condition, clean and playable. w/out any scratches.)
