Questions & Answers from other people about Record Turntable Players
I'm looking for a good 100 watt stereo receiver. I have a whole stack of records. I bought a cheapo Crosley replica all-in-one out-of-the-box record player for $125. Sounds awful. I'm now looking for a separate turntable and a high quality receiver. Your opinions of some good brands are greatly appreciated. I understand they start getting good at a certain price. My budget is about $1,000+ or - for the who setup. Thanks again!
I just recently acquired a collection of records from my aunt and the needle on my ancient record player is missing so i thought i would just go ahead and buy a new one.
I'm not looking for a used one or to buy one of anyone, so does anyone know where I can find a nice, inexpensive record player or turntable?
Thanks!
My cd player just recently broke, and I'm definetly interested in buying a new one. I already own an iPoddock+ipod, but i still love all my CD's.
But I've been considering getting a record player (turntable). I've seen that they have some reasonably priced ones at Urban outfitters, and I know where to find tons of records. Are they hard to work? Or are they easy, and what's the difference between them and cd players?
Thank youu!
I want to put a record player above my bed's headboard sideways on the wall. Is this possible? Do I need to buy a special record player to do this, or can I use any record player?
Also, If anyone knows a website to buy high quality, cheap record players, please let me know!
i don't know a thing about record players but i was hoping to find one for my dad for christmas. i'm looking for something hopefully under $100 and preferably one that's antique looking. i found a nice looking 4-in-1 crosley rochester turntable but i read some mixed reviews on it so i'm not sure if i want to buy it. are there some other good brands? should i just get a modern one instead? thankss
I have an Audio Technica Atlp2d usb that i'm connecting to an ipod dock via auxillary. The volume is fine through the preamp and everything but the sound is slightly warped. I've tried 5 or 6 different records old and new. I took it to the record shop I bought it at and they played it through rca and it sounded fine. I'm just wondering why auxillary sounds so bad. The notes played in the songs will shift up and down (they don't in the real recording). This is my predicamant, any help is appreciated. Thanks!
My turntable is brand new. I took it to the record store I purchased it at and they played it over their speakers and it sounded perfect. I think it may have something to do with me sending the audio signal through auxillary instead of rca. That's how they connected everything.
