I am searching for information about artist Bill Wirts also known as Bill Wirtz. He was born in USA on June 3, 1917. He is believed to have died in Paris, France sometime between 1961-1963. His last known address in December 1961 in Paris was: 18 Rue Chauveau Lagarde, Paris, France. I'm searching for information on his date of death, obituary, news and gravesite. Mr. Wirts was a commercial artist living in Paris from mid-1950s until his death. There is some mystery surrounding his death as an American in Paris (possibly murdered) that may have been in the local newspapers of the time, most likely in 1962 from what I have learned so far, but certainly within the range of 1961-1963. I have found some of his advertising work that he did for Vespa, Coca-cola, Clio, O-Yes, and others.
